Diagnostic Reagent Kit for Rapid Identification of E. coli O157:H7

This kit is designed for conducting a latex agglutination reaction to identify the pathogen of hemorrhagic colitis, Escherichia coli O157:H7.

Kit Composition:

Dropper Bottle #1 (Blue Cap, Specific Latex Test E. coli O157:H7):
- 0.5% suspension of monodisperse polystyrene aldehyde latex particles, diameter 0.65 μm;
- Sensitized with immunoglobulin G, isolated from rabbit serum with antibodies to lipopolysaccharide O157 and flagellar antigen H7 of E. coli O157:H7.
Dropper Bottle #2 (White Cap, Control Latex Test):
- 0.5% suspension of monodisperse polystyrene aldehyde latex particles;
- Sensitized with immunoglobulins from serum of non-immunized rabbits.
Dropper Bottle #3 (Green Cap, Positive Control E. coli O157:H7):
- Inactivated suspension of E. coli O157:H7 culture;
- Concentration of 10 units according to OSO 42-28-85 P.D.
